Cameron Perkins Obituary

Cameron David Perkins, 26, departed this world for the next adventure May 3, 2004. Born April 2, 1978, in Phoenix, Arizona, Cameron charged into life full steam ahead. He graduated from Mesa High School in 1996, where he participated in ROTC, Junior Varsity Cross Country and Choir. After high school, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved music and was a talented writer and rap performer. He laughed heartily, loved fiercely and lived his life with gusto. Though he rarely had two nickels to rub together he would not hesitate to give away whatever he had to a friend or a stranger in need. He will always be loved and dearly missed by his parents, Dave and Claire, sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Justin, brother Ryan, fiancee Aimee, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends. Arrangements by Bunker Family University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa. Visitation from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, May 11 at Bunkers University Chapel. Memorial service 3 pm, Wednesday, May 12 also at Bunkers University Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Stand Up For Kids (www.standupforkids.org), Free Arts Arizona (www.freeartsaz.org), or any other organization that supports homeless, disadvantaged and at-risk youth.

Cameron spent many nights at our house watching Monday night football with my brother Quino, Mike Baker, and Nick Solano. The laughs that were had are irreplaceable. Being the only girl to watch football with these crazy guys made me the butt of many jokes, and I would not change that for the world! God bless your family and I will always love ya!

Dave and Claire, My family and I are so sorry for your loss. I had so many great times with Cameron, both on the job and away from work. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.
