93 of Kearny, Arizona entered into Eternal rest on Monday, April 15th, 2013. Carlos was born to Carlos and Refugia Carrillo in Hayden, Arizona. He worked for Kennecott Copper Mines as a Boilermaker, Black Smith and Heavy Lift Crane Operator at Ray for 44 years. Carlos retired from mining in 1979. In his retirement years he enjoyed traveling to new places in the U.S. Mexico, and Colombia, South America. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by both young and old. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, loved dancing and singing with his beautiful wife Aurelia. Carlos also liked visiting with family, his children and grandchildren, great grandchildren and many lifelong friends. During World War II, Carlos was a proud patriot who served his country in Europe, from 1943-1947. Carlos was preceded in death by his lovely and faithful wife Aurelia. They were married on June 10, 1943 in Florence, Arizona. He is survived by his children, Edilia (John), San Diego, CA; Bobby (Yvonne), Running Springs, CA.; Gilbert (Martha), Albuquerque, NM.; and Mitzi, Kearny, AZ. Carlos has 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sisters; Consuelo and Ina both of San Ysidro, CA.
