Tammy,
I just found out about Carlos, I am so very sorry. I'm in a state of shock, it is very hard to believe that he is really gone. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dad -
I miss you so much. Golfing will never be the same without you. Alec and Kaitlyn miss you something fierce. Shawn and I laugh and cry when we talk about you. It's hard to believe you're really gone. It's been over a week and I still just can't believe you won't be coming over this weekend for swimming and some Texas Hold'em. I'll miss talking our little talks. Your laugh is forever etched in my mind. All your good, and not so good, advice makes me smile. You were a great father-in-law to my wife and an outstanding grandpa ("papa") to our kids. You were my rock. I, and my family, are weakened by your death but knowing that we will get together again someday makes life on this earth easier. Please look over us and give me a sign now and then that you are around. I'll be looking for them. I'm going to miss you so much. I love you and I know that you loved me. You were a good man. Thanks. Thanks for everything. See you in my dreams.

Dear Tammy and Family -
I feel so blessed to have known Carlos. His beautiful smile when he greated you and that look of disapproval, oh, that look. But that look never took away the kindness and love that was forever in his eyes and heart for his family and friends. Thank you for allowing me to know him. I know that he has etched my heart and will be there forever.
