Catherine Revait Obituary

Revait, Catherine (Propheter)
Left this life peacefully to meet her Lord, on October 24, 2013 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 78. Catherine was born in Sterling, Il to Bryce and Charlotte Wolf. She moved to Arizona in 1963 with her husband Clem Propheter and they resided in the valley until his passing in 1980. She drove school bus for Phoenix Christian Grade School and later retired from White Technology. She married Ray Revait in 1983 and upon their retirement they traveled the United States for a year. When they returned from their travels they made their home in Strawberry, AZ until 2010 when they returned to Mesa, AZ. Catherine participated in extensive volunteer work for the Pine-Strawberry, Senior Center. She was an active member of the Strawberry Chapel. She and Ray were enthusiastic and active members of the Zane Grey Square Dance Club. She was a very socially active person, loved by all who knew her and earned the nickname of "social butterfly" by her family and friends. She was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her husband of almost 30 years, Ray. Her children: step-son Robert Propheter (Bev), daughter Cyndi DeBoer (Terry), sons Bill Propheter (Karin), Ed Propheter (Jana), a step-son Tom Revait, step-daughter Diana Johnson (Frank). 8 grandchildren Diana Propheter, Linda Rinchack (Scott), Denise Propheter, Bryce Propheter (Miranda), Katie Harrison (Jon), Zachary Propheter, Melody Propheter, Tiffany Propheter, step-grandson Brian Bratzel and 4 great-grand children, Savannah, Max, Laila, Kailee. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Cody Meckstroth. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 PM at Palm Lane Christian Reformed Church in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinson's Foundation. Mom you will be greatly missed by your family - go with God!

Uncle Ray, Cindi and Terry and families, know that we are keeping you in our hearts and prayers. Aunt Mable and I had such a great visit this past June with many laughs and that's how I will remember Aunt Catherine.
