Charles Conard Obituary
- - Charles (Chuck) Gerald Conard Sr. July 5, 1937 - January 16, 2018. Loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, Chuck passed away unexpectedly January 16, 2018, at the age of 80. Born in Brownsville PA, he moved to Arizona in his 20's where he spent the rest of his life. He had a strong entrepreneurial spirit, being on the forefront of various small business ownerships and operations, primarily his landscaping business, Professional Property Services (P.P.S.). Chuck was also actively involved with sports; coaching soccer, baseball, football and basketball, with the culmination of his experience taking place in golf, where he vowed to "shoot his age" or under. But his adventurous nature didn't stop at sports; he was also an avid outdoorsman and dedicated his life to community service. Simply put, Chuck was a family man. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Sandi) Setzler, with their youngest Conard sons; William, Chris (wife Kaleigh), and Dennis (wife Becca, and 3 yr old and most recent apple of his eye, son Carson); his earlier family wife Shirley Joyce Conard with the Herring children Paul (children Emily, Johnny, Daniel, and Samuel), Jondavid (wife Stacey, children Arden and Brady), and Stephen (children Jake and Zoe); and earliest family wife Elaine Kanter with their children Deborah Westfall (husband Dickie, children Kyle (wife Breena) and Kayla) and Charles Gerald Conard Jr. ( wife Kathy, children Stephen Ferradino (fiancé Ruth) and Michael Conard (wife Maria). Sister and brother-in-law (Diane and Dennis Nygaard), and nephew-in-law Robert Iverson. A celebration of life is scheduled on January 26th. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chuck's name to your favorite charity or the disabled, Wounded Warrior project, or environmental organizations.
