Charles Moody Obituary
Phoenix - It is in faith and sadness the family of Chip Moody announces his passing after a two-year battle with cancer. Born March 16, 1954, in San Gabriel, CA, Chip was an alumnus of William-Jessup University, Lincoln Seminary, Yale Divinity, and Western Seminary. He proudly served as head pastor at Boulevard Christian Church in Baltimore from 1981-1986, as US Navy Chaplain from 1983-1989, as head pastor at Mountain View Christian Church in Phoenix from 1989-2011, and as professor/Dean/VP for Phoenix Seminary since 2006. Chip brought many lives to Christ through his faith, and touched even more through his compassion, love, and example as a living sacrifice. He will be dearly missed. Chip is survived by wife, Gina Gail (Brown), the love of his life; sisters Linda, Carol, and Tamara; children Ryan (Brandie), Logan (Kimberly), and Liana (Michael); and eight adoring grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Grace Community Church, 1200 E Southern Ave, Tempe, on June 30, 2018, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund will be established at Phoenix Seminary.

Sincere condolences to the family. May God sustain you at this time. Please find comfort from his word where he promises he will "comfort your heart and make you firm" during this time of great loss. This thought is in His Word at 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17. With loving sympathy
