I was very sad to hear about Chris's passing. I first met Chris in January 1991 when I started my first job out of college at DeMarcus & Associates. He was always extremely helpful and taught me a lot about accounting and taxes. He was always very patient and became a very good friend/colleague. He loved his girls and always talked about them. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. Chris will be missed very much.

Chris was a great guy and a huge help to me at DeMarcus and Associates. We're losing too many of that group way too early., The best to his family.

Chris, from my point of view the Lord took you way too soon. But, perhaps, Jon Mauney needed a bridge partner. I'll always remember the good times at McClintock High and ASU. Playing cards, pool basketball, and going out to eat at "Guggys" in the early morning hours. On behalf of Pat Fitzgibbon and Ted Yount (wherever they may be) much sympathy to the family, which we were a part of so many years ago.

You will be missed. You will always remain in my heart as a father for half of my life, and a part of my family... I pray you are out of pain, and rejoicing in heaven with the angels! My prayers for the girls and the family through this hard time.

It's hard to bear the loss, When loved ones go away. But may the thoughts of those who care in some way help today. May your cherished memories bring comfort to you too, and help to make your loved one seem, still very close to you. I recall Chris and all of the work he did in helping Holy Cross with their finances. My sympathy to each Gerdes family member. Janet Dorris from Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
