Chris Zaino Obituary

Zaino, Chris
On June 17, 2016, the world lost a good guy, Christopher Alan Zaino. Chris was surrounded by family and friends when he died peacefully, no longer a captive to the pain from the cancer that took his life prematurely at age 53. He found the love of his life, Sui Yuk, in Macau, while a missionary, later marrying her in Tucson. Chris was a PhD physical therapist with a passion for special needs children and their families, especially in China, where he & Sui Yuk founded Children of Promise Mission. Chris spent many years there as a physical therapist and missionary. Sui Yuk still runs Children of Promise. Chris is survived by Sui Yuk and their two children, Kereen and Janice, as well as two sisters, Vicki Simpson, & Paulette Siegel. Chris will be remembered as a gentle soul whose thoughts were for others less fortunate and for sacrificing monetary rewards for the thanks given him by those he helped. Chris was loved and will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Memorials will be held for Chris in Phoenix, Tucson, Tulsa & China.
