Wow, just finding out in June 2020! Well, I will always miss my good friend as we sometimes called him CCC, Cool Calm and Collective Chris, what can I say? Well in 1986 we were both in The September 1986 Roberto Venn School of Luthiery Class, and I being a lonely and alone Out of Town Student from Los Angeles, me and Chris Soon Bonded over our mutual Love of Guitar's and Heavy Metal Music, He even offered me a place to stay In Glendale at his Channon Family Home, at The Roberto Venn School Chris' Skill as a Guitar maker was Immediate and far Better than 99% of anyone else in that Semester, his Joinery and Glue Joints were so Perfect, you couldn't even see any Glue! After Roberto Venn we ended up sharing Rent at a few different Apartment's in the Phoenix area, Us Both being Charvel/Jackson Guitar Freaks, I remember the Excitement Chris Had when He actually applied to join The Jackson Guitar Company, and was Quickly Hired in 1989, and Relocated to Upland California to work at the Jackson Guitar Factory, then in Ontario California, I remember him telling me of him actually being watched and Approvingly Assessed As He Worked on Applying Neck and Headstock' Bindings and Iconic Sharkfin Mother of Pearl Inlays on Numerous Randy Rhoads Custom Model Jackson' Guitar's by Jackson Head Honcho Mr. Grover Jackson himself for a full 30 or more Intense minutes... Horrible News to hear he suddenly Died just two days after his Birthday
