Christopher Chirila Obituary
Christopher James Chirila "Chris", 28 of Phoenix passed away March 20, 2011. Chris was born in Phoenix September 17, 1982. He is survived by his mother, Olga; grandpa, Humphrey; two brothers, Gherasim and Jerry, Jr.; nieces, nephew, uncle, aunts, cousins and 3 Godsons. Chris is also survived by his best friend Ryan and countless other friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry and grandma. A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011, 12:00pm at Coronado Park, 12th St. and Palm Ln. in Phoenix, AZ.

Chris this is your mom here I just wanted to tell you how proud i am to be your mom and how proud I am of what type of a man you turned out to be. You loved your woman the way i would of wanted to be loved, you truely wanted to take care of them all including me . You had respect for your elders and people in general, even if you did like messing with your grandpa the way you did, he is gonna miss that. You are one hell of a person and I am so proud to call you my son. Rest in Peace. I'll see you on the other side one day.

Christopher was an amazing man. He had been through so much in his life. I'm glad to see things were going well for him... Sometimes fate has a terrible way of showing how much you care about someone. I wish I would have known about this memorial... I would have loved to have been there...

Chris you were one of the 1st friends I had when I moved here back in 95. I remember going door to door hustling when we were kids just to make a buck. We lost contact but i never forgot about you guys. RIP Chris Chirila....

Chris, our chance friendship derived from unusual circumstances. But once our friendship started we shared a lot. You were always there to listen to me about my relationship and vice versa. We would sit and talk for hours and I would sneak handfuls of your jelly bellys! :} I miss you so much. You were an ever presence in my life. We knew you would make a good dad to Trinity and it was obvious how much she loved you. I've never gone this long without hearing from you....without seeing you. We had so many plans for your future. Just Saturday we were talking about your next move. I was so damn proud of you and the life direction you were taking and me being Mother Hen told you just be careful and smart and you told me no worries you got it all covered. It's difficult because I come across you texts, your emails and your call log. LOL You were persistent Chris when you couldn't get ahold of me! LOL I will miss you everyday.

Chris, you were 14 when you came into my life. Even then you had this great sense of humor. Your Dad and I were always so proud of all the things you accomplished. And after your Dad passed away, I really appreciated getting those texts from you whenever the Cardinals did well or when a holiday came around. And for all who are greiving, I pray to God for comfort during this time of mourning. You were loved by many, Chris....and I believe love is the one thing you take with you to Heaven. Love, Jan

Reading all the posts from other people on here (and facebook) has brought tears to my eyes. I've known you for most of my life, Chris, and although we weren't very close, I know you're a good guy! You're my daughter's uncle (by blood!) and that alone connects us as family.

Chris, I miss u a ton and been celebrating your life everyday. We had some crazy times together. Im so happy we made up before you went sky bound. When u gave me a hug because we linked back up i knew you and i were ment to be boys. Its hard to even come to accepting that your gone. I keep thinking im gonna see you this week like we had planned. Thanks for letting me back in your life with open arms. I know one day we will see eachother again and for now Im going to try and carry out your legacy. I will continue to do what we talked about as far as the grow op goes (legally) of course because thats how you always wanted it. Thanks for letting me watch your pups when you went to cali. You were a REAL and genuine person Chris, and for that you had my RESPECT. I'll think of you every Friday from here on out since I will no longer receive those Friday phone calls. Thanks for thinking of me everytime you came back with some super goodies. We became closer around messed-up circumstances but I guess that was written for us. I just want to say thank you. For spending so much time with your god sons always making sure they had a good time wherever we were. They love their uncle chris so much it is Devistating that you won't be here with us for them, but we know you won't be far away so keep an eye on them as we keep you in our hearts and memories until we meet again.

It's hard to think that you are gone. That is because you are not gone you are above looking down on us. Watching our every move, probably cracking jokes. I remember we had around 4 old school rides looking classy cruising like 25 to the next hot spot. When i mention your name to my friends they remember you as chris with that sweet truck.
When i heard what happen I was hiking at the canyons. I was speechless, Then i saw what was around me. Beauty, life the clear water shore, Canyons, and blue skies and so much color. i Felt good, knowing you will be part of something so beautiful Chris. We will miss you but i do know you always be their.

Chris was always the person I went to for advice, or if I just needed to talk. He would come to my house or my work if I was having a bad day just to give me a hug and make me laugh. I thought we would be friends for the rest of my life. It hurts that I will never again be able to feel the way he made me feel when we were together. I have so much love for him. There is a hole in my heart that can never be filled by anyone else. He believed in me so much and encouraged me to do great things in my life. All I can do is honor him by achieving the goals he helped me create for myself and look forward to the day I get to see him again. I can't believe he is really gone.

Chris was always the best at giving me advice, if I ever wanted to talk about something I always called him. If I was bummed out he would come to my house or my work just to give me a hug. He defenitely backed up all of his opinions, I remember this last Christmas he was at my house debating my Grammy about the positive and negative affects of the new marijuana laws. I always knew that we would never stop being friends, he was so special to me I thanked God all the time to have a friend like him in my life. There is a hole left in my heart now that he is gone that will never be filled by anyone else. He knew me better than I know myself. All I can do is finish what he inspired me to start and look forward to the day I die so I can see him again.
