Clara Reuter Obituary
Reuter, Clara Emma (Ranalletta) passed away peacefully January 27, 2013. Clara Reuter was born August 20, 1923. She graduated from Monroe High School in Rochester, New York 1941. She was a talented seamstress and began working by sewing wedding dresses, bridal attendant dresses, and veils. Clara moved to New York City and learned the art of pattern design. While working in the fashion industry she met the love of her life Dr. Vincent Reuter. They married in 1957 and moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1961. Clara was a member of Arizona State University's Faculty Wives and PEO. Clara enjoyed volunteering as a faculty wife helping students with registration at ASU. She also worked at ASU's Student Health Center from 1978 to 1985. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Filomena Maria (Paolucci) Ranalletta; by her husband, Vince and brothers, Costantino "Tom", Guido "Peter", and Ruggiero "Roger" Ranalletta. She is survived by her son, John Thomas and her daughter, Christine Marie, son-in-law, Daniel Beckman and her grandchildren, Bridget and Elliot Beckman. Also in Arizona her loving niece, Gail Majors and sister-in-law, Marlene Reuter. Clara's family thanks the staff at Friendship Village and Hospice of the Valley for their loving care. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave. in Tempe. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley. (www.hov.org) Masses for the repose of the soul of Clara will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tempe, on Ash Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. and Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 11 a.m.

Clare was the BEST neighbor to our family. I can think of so many kind things she did for us - too many to name. We loved her dearly. She is at peace now with Vince. I was blessed to have her in my life.
