Clarence Freney Obituary
Clarence (Clay) Freney passed away peacefully on April 29,2020 at the age of 81, with his loving wife of 57 years Flora Barge Freney at his bedside.
Clarence is survived by his wife Flora Freney, his daughter Pat Lacy, his niece Tina Fairley and grandchildren Kendra (John)Jones, Kenny Lacy Jr. and 3 great-grandchildren, sister Mattie Ogles, other family and friends.

I roomed with Clay and Calvin at Goodwin stadium in 58.
Great guys. I left and lost touch until recently I got to know the Blanco families in Globe. Clay was ine of the good guys. Hasta luego.

Condolences to the Freney family on their loss. Globe has not only lost another of its legendary athletes, but more importantly Globe has lost one of its finest individuals who made us all very proud of the way he lived his life and all that he accomplished. RIP, Clay, my friend; we are all so very fortunate to have had you in our lives.

Knew clay from high school football. He played for globe hs and I for superior hs. Was a great running back, we competed fairly and by the rules. Shook hands after game with respect. May u rest on peace. Matt a. Pacheco

Rest In Peace Clay. You were my next door neighbor for over 32 years, we were family. I going to miss seeing you and talking to you. You were a kind, humble, and gentle soul. My heart broke the day you passed away, but I know you at Eternal Rest in the Arms of Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. You will always be in my heart and I will truly miss you. Love you, Rest In Peace my dear friend.
