Clementina Padilla

Clementina Padilla, 69, of Tolleson, AZ passed away on January 13, 2007. Born October 29, 1937 in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico. She was the first born of 10 siblings, and the first to look into our Mother's loving eyes. Clementina had a third grade education in Mexico; she moved to the United States and became a naturalized citizen at the age of 16. She received her G.E.D. at an early age and later received her nursing degree. She was a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital for many years before venturing into the business world. For 20 years she owned "Clementina's Nursing Home" in Mesa . She was a self-taught business woman and became very successful. She was preceded in death by her father, Ignacio Padilla. She is survived by her mother, Guadalupe S. Padilla, sons: Hector and wife Peggy, Mark and wife Cecilia, sisters: Maria, Mary, Bertha, Teresa and Rosie, brothers: Joe, Ignacio Jr., Manuel and Sal. Grandchildren: Miguel, Victoria, Alma Linda and Marcitos. Great Grand Children: Vanessa, Xavier and Ryder. And by many nephews and nieces Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 W. Van Buren, Tolleson. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 9:oo a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Tolleson.
