I served with Coy 1966 - 1969 in the Marine Corps Reserve unit in Phoenix. It was a joy to have witnessed his good cheer and humor.

Every weekday morning I would hear the door kick open and the sounds of a Marine sounding off. It was my jumpstart every morning for 5 1/2 years. Im 36 years old and most days you would run circles around me. You always motivated me to be the best at anything I do. Do it and do it well. I miss you and, I miss your energy.
Things are very different around here without you. I just want to say it was a pleasure knowing, working, and spending time with you. One day I will meet you at the crossroads with the rest of my loved ones. With much love and respect....God Bless. Andy G.Rocco

Your with the angels now. My little big man. Your one of the most loving, understanding, best of man I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Loved you from the first minute.

I will think of you always and have thought of you since I knew you were sick.

That wont change. You'll be so sorely missed. Wanted to tell you a secret though, I was not able to go to your funeral but there was not even standing room. Doesnt surprise me a bit. Love you and I know you'll look our for your family and finally see the family that has left our presence. God bless your heart, and love to Saundra and the boys.

I have enjoyed getting to know Coy, but wish he had more time with us. It has been nice to hear stories shared by loved ones and I hope to hear more. It is clear that he has impacted and influenced the lives of many. Although his physical presence will be missed, his spirit will forever live in the hearts of his loving family and friends. The Lord has called him for reasons that are unknown and perhaps too soon for us to comprehend, but surely for bigger and better things. I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to meet Coy and will miss him dearly. Take care of each other and cherish all the beautiful memories. I love you all.

Saundra and Family,

Words alone cannot express our sense of loss, nor the sympathy that we have for the family. I was fortunate enough to speak with Coy during the last 3 weeks and will cherish those conversation. We pray our Gracious Lord will comfort and guide you during this time and also pray for wonderful memories as well to replace your grief.
Coy was a valuable member of our Kaman family and he will be missed by all.

With Gods's love.

After 26 years of being a friend of Coy's this world will become quite different for me. I have worked with him over the years as a vendor to Kaman, a specialist with Kaman and as his District Manager (and Branch Manager of the West Store for many years) and an "old" Vet and personal friend. The world was always a larger place with Coy in it - he would just give everyone "heck" for not taking care of "his customers" and then he would get out his books and begin to mentor and teach the younger guys on how "things should be done around here!" My condoleces to the family for their loss. May God grant them peace and comfort in their sorrow.

Dear Hunter Family,
I extend my heartfelt condolences to you all. I hope the wonderful memories Coy has left with all of us will be comforting as there are so many. He will be greatly missed here at Kaman. He had such a special way about him and I will miss his voice over the phone greeting me with “what ya doin’ girl...”
With deepest sympathy,

Coy, you will be greatly missed by all that knew you. I have known you since I was 11 years old. I appreciate the way you treated me like a little brother from the very beginning when you married Saundra in 1972. As I grew older you always treated me with respect and never treated me like a little kid. You involved me in activities and even let me play for your company softball team. I will truly miss hanging out with you and watching sports with the entire family on holidays. I love you! Dave Arner
