Cross Moceri Obituary
Cross Moceri, 96, passed away peacefully in his home in Scottsdale, Arizona on June 7, 2021. Cross was born January 24,1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Serafina Moceri. After serving in the Army in World War II, Cross met his wife Dorothy Dettlaff and they were married in 1946. Cross worked many years in the family business at Better Made Potato Chips and went on to establish his own business in Detroit. In 1970 he moved his family to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked for the city until his retirement in 1990. Cross enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, and was a avid reader. He will be remembered for his love of life and all it offered.
Cross is survived by his children, Cross Frances, Elizabeth Ivanisko and David; grandchildren Cross Kevin, Christen, Kelli and Staci, 10 great grandchildren, and his sister Lucy Risko. Cross was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, brothers Joseph, Stephen, Gasper, his sister Frances and cousin Joseph.
Memorial service to be held at a later date.
