64 years old. Son of Anita and Fred Crouch. Graduate of Avondale Elementary, and Agua Fria Union High School, Avondale, AZ. He attended University of Arizona. His artistry with tooled leather was of the highest quality. Many friends as well as customers cherish his belts, purses, key fobs, etc. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and travel. My mother, who still lives in the Avondale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park area, sent me Dale's obituary. I was very saddened to hear about his death.

Dale and I were close friends during elementary and high school in Avondale Arizona. I had not seen him since about 1970, when I visited my parents in Goodyear while on military leave. He contacted me and wanted me to invest in the purchase and renovation of a bowling alley he wanted to buy. Bowling was always one of his favorite sports and growing up we would frequently go bowling at the local bowling alley in Avondale next to the drive-in theater.

After that, I lost contact with him as a lived out of state and moved around several times.

I remember him as someone who was always interested in looking sharp and dressing well. We would frequent Haney's men's store in downtown Phoenix. He loved to buy their shoes, slacks and and button-down shirts. Looking back, he was more mature than most of us at that time.

I consider him to be my best friend during that period. We did many things together.
