Daniel Pierson Obituary
an Arizona native, passed away August 7, 2016, at the age of 76 in Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his wife Karene, and his daughter, Stacy McDearmon (& Curt), and son, Kelly Pierson (& Cathi), and four grandchildren, Ali Himsl (& Katy), Anna, and Dillon Harper (& Sadie), and Daniel Pierson. Services will be held in Mesa, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7752 E. McDowell Rd., Mesa, AZ 85207 on Saturday, August 13, 2016, with a viewing at 9:00 -9:45 am, and services at 10:00 am. Internment will be at the Mesa Cemetery,1212 N. Center, Mesa. Bunker Mortuary is the attending mortuary.

I knew Dan when I was a young man about 16 and he was about 39. He was a fine man and took the time to encourage me about life. I have thought of him many times over the years and so appreciate his kindness and guidance. Dan, may you rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Danny's family. I am so sorry for your loss.
As one of several kids in the old neighborhood I lived one block north of the Piersons. Danny and I went through Whittier Elementary and North Phoenix High together, graduating in 1958. We shared a lot of great times back in the day. We last saw each other at the Whittier 30 year class reunion. I will remember Danny with fondness.

Haven't seen or talked to Danny since they moved to San Diego, maybe 50 years ago but it just seems like yesterday we were racing around Phoenix . We were members of the winders car club . I guess we thought we were real cool. He was funny. Last of the really good guy's
