Daniel Potratz Obituary
61 of Phoenix, AZ, husband of Joanne M. Potratz of 12 years, son of Margaret C. (Wilke) Potratz and Victor Herbert Potratz, passed away on Sunday October 12, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born February 14th, 1953 in Oshkosh, WI. He graduated Omro High School Class of 1971, studied Engineering at Phoenix College and was a proud owner and operator of Potratz Concrete Pumping SW, LLC since November of 2005. Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all and he will be dearly missed. Daniel is survived by sons, Harley D. Potratz, Matthew R. Potratz, and Martin Guerra Jr. son of his beloved wife Joanne M. Potratz, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters (Daniel was the 2nd to the youngest) and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held with an open heart at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 25th, located at 4010 E. Earl Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Arrangements entrusted to Eastlake Mortuary. Memorial contributions and flowers can be sent to the above address. He will be missed immensely ...may he ride in Harley Heaven.

I know the boys miss you more than you will ever know and I continue to love you more and more everyday. You left such a print in our hearts, pls. know that your existance will never be forgotten. My dearest Darlin, It is now...three months and I live for you and miss you so much. You left such a large imprint of you in my heart baby. I think of you everyday and not a moment goes by, that I don't think of the beutiful memories we shared. you do know, we were soul mates, so when you left you took a big part of me. Wait for me and pls know that I love you more than I have ever loved before. Why you had to leave, I'll never know, for we had just begun but I do know that your at peace and you were sicker than anyone knew. What a loss, you are an Angel of life and this I know. My dearest darling, It's Christmas and your not with us today. We miss you hanging the stockings for the grandchildren with their goodies so they can play until we have our dinner with Harley & Matt and family. It's awful without you and pls. know we miss you so much and we can't wait to see you again. Merry Christmas baby.

To my husband, my friend and most of all my life companion. The lord had a bigger calling and a larger purpose for you darlin. You are missed and will be missed and I was blessed to marry one of the most gifted people on this earth. It hurts to leave you but we still have our granchildren and the legacy that you leave behind. I love you so much and will never, never forget you my love. I was shocked to hear of Danny's passing. I grew up with him in Omro, Wisconson. He was such an awesome mechanic. I remember he came to my apartment one Saturday morning (early '70s) and asked if I wanted to take a spin on his new motorcycle! How could I turn that down?!! He was my brother's (Mike) best friend. He was also an extremely hard worker (as were all of his brothers). My prayers are with his family.

I remember playing Cowboys and Indians with Daniel at the old Omro Junction School. He was always the leader so I'm not surprised he owned his own company.
