Danny Bennett Obituary
born 9/2/1954 passed away 10/9/2009 in Scottsdale, Arizona of natural causes. Dan's positive attitude and generous heart have touched and enriched the lives of all who knew him. Dan was born in Hawthorne, California and relocated to Arizona in 1977. His smile, kind heart, and larger than life presence will live on in all who have had the privilege of loving, knowing or meeting him. Dan was the kind of person that we strive to be and was taken from us far too early. Dan was the President and Owner of Coffee Solutions Company of Scottsdale, Arizona. He was a proud member of the Executives' Association of Greater Phoenix (EAGP) for 26 years. Everyday was an opportunity for Dan to spend time with and service his clients, interact with his EAGP colleagues, and seek prospective business ventures. If you ever spent 5 minutes with him, you'd feel his warmth, wit, generosity, and love for his family, friends and business. Many of his friendships have lasted his entire life, and his business clients have remained loyal because of his incredible work ethic. Dan was a mentor to and very proud of his good friend and cousin, Dave Patterson, whom he worked with daily at Coffee Solutions. Dan will be missed forever by his beloved wife and soul mate of 31 years, Becky, as well as his mother and stepfather, Diane and Ted Sahm, brother Mitchell Bennett (Penny), sister Stacey Smock (Chuck), nephews Christopher Smock, Preston McGrew, niece Macy McGrew and many more family members whom he loved and cherished. He was greatly loved by his mother-in-law, Ruth Miller and sisters-in-law, Julie Mazor (Dave), Kathy Weller, and brothers-in-law Randy Calhoun (Sally), Dan Calhoun, Doug Calhoun and many nephews and nieces. There will be a memorial service for Dan at Messinger Mortuary Pinnacle Peak, followed by a reception at 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Scottsdale, AZ. 85255 on Saturday, October 17th, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be sent to support the Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or American Heart Association (www.americanheartassociation.com) Please indicate your gift is in honor of Danny Lee Bennett.

I had known where you were. You have no idea how many times I thought about you guys and your mother. I still miss your Dad so much and every time I get down that way I go so to see him and my young son who is also there.. I will try to contact Mitch. Go with God my young friend. I will be watching the memorial service for my cousin Danny from Singapore. We have sent donations to the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association in Danny's memory. I sent an email of the card for Becky to my Mom, Ruth and Stacey. Please pass it to her. I wish I could be with you all. Kiss each other for me and know my heart is in Arizona.
