Aunt Suzi was my grandma's sister, and with them living in Arizona, we didn't see her much. What I remember most is the silliness that Suzi brought out in my grandma, something we rarely saw!! During the opening of our Christmas gifts every year, I remember watching my grandma giggle and laugh at all of the presents she recieved from "Tilly II"- it was an inside joke I never understood, but I know that was a relationship my grandma treasured!

Aunt Susie---I will always remember the times we spent out in the gazebo at mom & dad's smoking and laughing talking about life's lessons and all the animals you had. Do you know that you could have been known as Susie Doolittle? Thanks for always being YOU! Love you, Laurie Schmidt

Although Sue was my sister-in-law, I didn't have a chance to really get to know her as well as I would have liked. We lived so far apart, our family in Missouri and hers in WA & AZ. Our hearts go out to Darla and Kurt and their families in the loss of their Mother and Grandmother. You're in our prayers.

It was always a great time when Aunt
Sue came to Spokane. She brought fun and stories. We had two great family reunions with ALL of us together. We will miss her, too.
Know that we love her family much.

To my mother in law Sue,
I was lucky to have been your daughter in law for 30 years. I will treasure the good times and the laughs you left me with. Even though your time with us was short I will forever remember how full of life your were and your big smile and hugs.
love

When Darla brought Sue to Dream Catcher, my Assisted Living Home, I was delighted to see that this was the woman I worked for at Valley Bank in 1979. I alwaya admired Sue, and was proud to treat her with the same respect she treated me with as a young banker. A favorite memory is of her dressed in 1890's apparel for the opening of the VNB Solomonville Branch. Sue was always professional and helped pave the way for women in banking, and women in business. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

We loved to see Sue out and about watering her yard or spending time with Sophie. Her smile and sweetness brought smiles to our hearts. I know she will be missed, but what precious memories you have. There is little we can say to bring comfort, but if it helps, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
