Dear Hibbert Family,
I'm sorry we didn't hear about this earlier to be there. Your husband and father was and will always be a great man. I will always remember him and Nichols wanting their "DP" and whomever might have been closest to the ice chest was the one in charge of tossing one to him. He was always involved with the kids especially the boys and their football/etc while Lori and I did Cub Scouts at their house. There was always a playful interaction with him, topped by a sense of "be the best you can be" as our conversations ended.
He is gone physically from us now but those memories will last forever with us.

Dearest Hibbert Family, I just found out about your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose someone you love so much, and I am so sorry. Your Family took me in when I was a troubled teenager now that I am 41 I can look back and think what a saint your Dad/Husband was to take in an eighth teen WOW what a guy!! I don't know many people that would be so kind. I remember David as being very stoic and I remember his cool study/office. I think his greatest accomplishment is what a wonderful marriage and kids he has to remember him by.. Thank You all for the part of your life you shared with me. You are all in my thoughts now, I am so glad you have eachother..With lots of Love, Marnie Mann

I knew David through senior softball for about 5 years. I never met a person who was so easy-going, he never had anything bad to say about anyone. He was an outstanding person and a great softball player. We're sorry we couldn't attend the funeral, as we were out of state. Our thoughts are with his family.

Quite simply, he was the best uncle a girl could have. I love him -- and learned my "delightful" sarcasm from him.

Dear Family,

I'm sorry to hear of Mr Hibbert's passing. You forgot to mention "teacher"; he was my art teacher in high school. I understand why you may have not included it, because he was a teacher for only a short time. Funny thing, kids never forget teachers who made an impression, and unfortunately teachers most often never know when or if that occurred, but it did with me. He had me work harder than I wanted to, and from that expectation, I got into an art school (with the drawings) that I would not have otherwise. I thank him for that, and remember him for that... thank you, Mr. Hibbert, and blessings to all you, his loved ones.

Sorry to hear of Coach Hibberts passing. Dave was definitely one of the best coaches I ever had. One of my better memories of Dave is in Payson watching he and several other people build a cabin for someone. Paul, sorry I missed the funeral. I am in Alaska right now.

Mrs. Hibbert and family,

I am saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. Although it has been several years since my last contact with Dave, he has been in my thoughts over all my adult years. He inspired me to succeed in life. He was my art teacher for four years. He was instrumental in my pursuit of a career in art. He also taught me valuable lessons of working hard and setting goals as my football coach at North High. His kindness and generosity were of great help to me.

I will remember Dave as having a wonderful sense of humor. He would always help at our office by giving dental exams with his pocket knife...mostly to people he knew.. He was always interested in what was going on with everyones kids...and always had fun stories about his grandchildren..I am keeping him and his wonderful family in my prayers during this time of sadness.
