Hi sweetheart,

I have tried to pull up the quest book several times but my tears would not let me read it let alone write to you. But I know I need to do this. Knowing you has changed my life. We always knew what to say to each other even when we didn't want to hear it. I miss talking to you every morning, reminding you to smile that smile every day and our sweet good nights. I am going to miss our rides together and our long talks about a happier future. I am going to miss your smile, your smell, your embrace but most of all I am going to miss my friend. Our journey together was just begining David. I know you are watching over Dakota and I, still pushing me to do my best. You will always be in my heart and soul.I think of you every day and I cry, not only because I am sad but because I am grateful you are finally free, even if I would rather have you here with us. I know we will be together again someday. I want you to know I am going to continue to fight the good fight and be the best sober mom I can be. I put a picture of you and a poem I wrote out by your cross. I also gave you my 90 day chip. Thank you for believing in me and know that I always belived in you. I will never say goodbye just see you later. Till then, I love you David. " SAVE ME A SEAT".

My deepest sympathy to Dave's family and friends. I didn't know Dave, but after reading the notice today I was compelled to write out of respect for a man who chose sobriety & recovery; and a family who obviously loved & supported him in every way. I cried knowing that someone so young with such bravery has left your lives. May you find peace.

Dear David....Well, from the time I first saw you, I liked you. You held such a glow, it made me feel good inside, automatically. I thought to myself, "Who is he?".... Your smile, personality, truely an INSPIRATION, there was just a light about you. Some kind of positivity many people don't have...definately someone people would want to be around and get to know. I miss you already. I am happy and greatful to have met you and was able to show my respects at your services. I go by your cross on 51st Ave. here and there and refill the flower vases with water, and stand the candles back up.. Sometimes they fall over from the breeze of fast traffic I guess. But, anyway..lots of love to you and your family. I'll see you again someday okay? And do me a favor, when I see you up in heaven, look over your right should and flash me that incredible smile, just like you did when I saw you last Wednesday night (Aug 17th, 2005) okay?

P.S. As talkative as you can be, I know you will put in a good word for all of your friends... : )

XOXO....Monica Marie.

"We lived like kings" and I will never forget it. Your smile and joyfulness will be missed around the house by logan, saul, and I. I know you found comfort in my home and let me know that all the time. I believed it helped in your healing and we were on our way. You just got there first and we will all meet up at another time and ride again just like the king's we enjoyed to be. Take it anyway it comes "cat" and I will take care of the "Baby Boy". I never knew but "That's How I roll", also.

Love You,

Ken and Logan

My dearest "CAT"-- You showed many of us how life should be lived...to the fullest. I will miss that smile so very much but the best part is that I can still see your face as that bright light that lit up a room. Keep on shining my friend. See you sometime soon.

Lil Dave,

I am still in complete shock. We have lost a wonderful person, full of compassion and wit. You made us smile. Your presence here at the ranch is unforgetable. Chance and Elaina along with the rest of us adored you. We all do! The void you left will never be filled. We will remember and think of you always. Your one who will never be forgotten. Words can't express how we all feel about you. Keep riding Lil Dave! Keep riding...

All Our Love Always,

Dave and Tonna
