David Martinez Obituary

David Thomas Martinez, age 57, born 4/2/1948. Taken into the Lord's care 12/26/2005. Loving husband, devoted father & grandfather; caring son, brother & brother- in-law, dear friend. He served 4 years in the US Navy, worked for Garrett Air Research for 12 years and Hurley Transportation for 14 years. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Herlinda Palomo Martinez, children Rachel and Thomas. Grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Edward & Nicholas. Father Thomas Martinez, Sisters Mary Martinez, Susan Villalba and Patricia Avalos. Brothers Daniel, Manuel & Miguel Martinez. Visitation will be 1/5/06 from 5-8pm, Rosary at 7pm at Hansen's Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St, Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass will be 1/6/06 at 11am, Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8620 N. 7th St, Phoenix AZ. Interment of ashes will be 1/10/06, 10:00 am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ.

I will miss my dad very much. I would really like him to yell at me right about now because this way I know he would be here in his home with my mom, his best friend. Unfortunately, that will no longer be but his memories will continue in our home forever and ever.
