A year ago today we lost you. You were a very special man that was loved and respected by your family, friends and coworkers. I appreciate how you were always there to help anyone, anytime. I am grateful for you being a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
I miss your laugh and your smile, but mostly I just miss YOU.
I want to thank you for everything you did for me and for being a wonderful, caring and loving father.
I love you.

I'm so thankful for the many years I had the most amazing man as my grandfather! Then to see how much my kids adored him as well was so special. The way Grandpa's eyes lit up at the site of his great-grandchildren will forever be one of my favorite memories. I would give anything to have one more day with him or even to hear just one more of his jokes. He will forever be missed.

Grandpa this world is so much better for having had you in it. There is not a day that goes by that we don't smile because of a memory that you were a part of. Your smile, laugh and sense of humor will be missed so much by so many. Thank you for being the best grandpa and great grandpa we could've ever asked for. We love you always.

Most of us are either "Good People", who go through life just doing what they have to do to get by, or a "Child of God"; one who seeks God's will and does their best to adhere to his commandments and right the "injustices" of this mortal life. Rare are those individuals who go beyond these life roles, making this mortal world a better place for us and our loved ones to live; LT. DAVID PAUL has lived his life in such a manner.
God holds a special place of honor for all his chosen "PeaceKeepers", where they are once again reunited with their loved ones and fellow officers of the law. Your final tour has now ended, and it is now time for you to seek eternal rest, happiness, and joy within the kingdom of heaven. A life well lived LT., God Bless, thank-you for all you have given to us all, you made a difference, and we will always be thankful. Peace and Eternal Blessings.
