Hey Doc, thanks for all the encouragement when I was a kid. My teeth still look great. I'm still wearing the bottom retainer you installed 20+ years ago. Your staff was so awesome. My favorite Suzy. You're a quality, class guy. Thanks for everything. Continue to Rest.

Sue, you may not remeber me, this is Jim Markey. I was one of Dave's groomsmen at your wedding. We were best friends in high school. I feel so bad about what happened. I had always wanted to catch up with Dave, and I was searching the internet to find out about contacting him when I saw what happened. He meant so much to me growing up...I'm really sorry I never tried to contact him before now, and I'm so sorry about your loss. I have so many memories with Dave. He was like a brother to me in high school. My prayers are with you. Jim Markey

Dear Sue,
I am in shock. I know that it has been 2 1/2 years since I moved away to San Antonio but I have since returned only to find of your husband's passing. I am so sorry to hear this. Your office took care of me when it was time to move on from my pediatric dentist. Your staff ALWAYS knew how who I was. You were so wonderful to me and even when my boyfriend and I broke up, would call me to let me know he was going to be in the office. (Silly as that sounds.) I am so sad and sorry for your loss. Dr. Pearman and his staff were so great to me and even my little baby at the time. You watched him when I would have treatment done. I was excited to show you and Dr. Pearman my new twins. Thank for all that you have done for me. Your husband will be missed.

Dear Sue and All,
Steve and I were shocked and saddened to receive the letter announcing Dr. Pearman's passing. He has been my dentist for twenty years. Even after we moved all the way to Goodyear, an hour away, we still felt it was worth the drive to continue to have Dr. Pearman as our dentist! We felt that he was not only an excellent dentist but a friend as well. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and that he will be remembered with a smile because that is what he always had for us everytime we entered his office.
Take Care and keep up the excellence that we always received from all of you each and every time we came to your office!

To the Pearman Family and His Staff: I am another who was shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Pearman's passing. I still cannot wrap my mind around it. He was so compassionate w/ his patients. Sue and all,
Dorrie talked me into going to see David. I had not been to a dentist in 18 years, since I was in the service. I wasn't really having a problem except this huge cavity. The temp filling that the Air Force put in had fallen out in about a month and I just didn't know a dentist and... Dorrie and I got married and she told me to go to him. This was in the 42nd and Bell office which is right across the street from us.
When I told him it had been 18 years he laughed and said well let's have a look. He went through a test for plaque I think. he kept saying 3 5 4 6 3 4 6. I asked after it was over. What was all that about? He spent 10 minutes explaining it. He and I got to be great friends but I never got my bike running so I never got to ride with him. He may not have actually done it anyway since I ride a Gold Wing.
I will miss him deeply. I felt like we could joke about anything.
To the girls, I will be back. It will be different but Dave was a great guy and you are all great too so I'll be back soon. You have been buggin' me enough I guess I should have made an appointment.
God Bless you Sue, keep the faith. David is soothing the angles and laughing with God.

As everyone else has mentioned, I am deeply saddened by this tragic loss and I too was a happy and faithful patient of his for many years. My husband and I never went to the same dentist as his was a family friend and I would never leave Dr. Pearman. You knew he was a great person especially since he has maintained the same staff for so many years, it says something about how he is as a boss and I am sorry that the office is probably so heavy now without his presence.
To his wife and family, I have no doubt in my mind that the Lord had a higher calling for such a wonderful man and that he is helping to do much more blessed work in the heavens that couldn't be done on this earth! May your family be comforted with this same knowledge. My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for the lost of your dear loved one. It's comforting
to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved
one is something we cannot get use to. The Bible gives us hope
that one day we can see our dear loved one again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrender his soul for many. John 15:13 says “No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends.” Truly I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.

We have only had the privilege of knowing Dentist Dave & Sue for a couple of years but in that time had the opportunity to have some very good times together and find it hard to accept that Dave is no longer with us.
This world needs more people like Dave who always had a smile on his face, never spoke a unkind word about anyone & embraced life by doing what he loved and loved what he was doing.
The memories we will hold the most have to be Dave's love for motorcyles, wine and most of all the deep love he felt for his family and his soul mate Sue which showed in his eyes every time he looked at her. They acted more like newlyweds than a couple married 27 years.
We send our deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

Dear Pearman family,
While I hadn't seen Dave since we graduated high school oh so long ago, I did know that he was a successful dentist in AZ. It isn't a surprise to those of us from back then that he lived up to his 'most likely to succeed' class award - because that is very evident from the entries that I've read in this guest book. In this extremely sad time, it's comforting to know that he meant so very much to so very many people.
The past 12 months have not been very kind to the class of '78. We've lost Laurie, and Steve, and now Dave. Take good care of each other up there, ok?

We felt like a part of your "Dental Family" Doc was not only an excellent dentist, he was a fun, vibrant, caring person. We all have lots of good memories from our many visits to your offices. Once, when we first moved to Desert Hills we tried a Dentist close to home, we all made it for one appointment then whole family voted that Dr. Pearman was the best dentist in the world, and well worth a drive.

Sue, I want you to know that when I walked into Dr. Pearman's office 3 years ago, I brought "fears" about past dental experiences that I never dreamed I would overcome. From the very 1st encounter with Dr. Pearman, those fears diminished. He always treated me with upmost respect and care as his patient. I trusted his wisdom regarding the care that I needed for good dental health. I particularly remember when I needed 4 extractions and he thought it best to offer me sedation dentistry with another office; but, I declined and trusted Dr. Pearman to extract all four the same day. I never experienced any discomfort from the procedure. Sue, Dr. Pearman will be missed and I will hold you up in prayer that God will give you strength to endure. When I became a widow 3 years ago, I found that "Time" is our friend.

Oh my gosh! I could not believe it when my husband showed me the paper. I have been going to Dr Pearman since the late 80's when he was at the 35th ave and Bell office. He was a great man!! I didn't feel like I was just his "PATIENT", I felt as if he knew me as well on a personal level. He always asked about what concert I had been to most recently, I actually ran in to him, Sue, Brenda and her husband at the Bob Segar concert. He was a VERY caring person in the medical profession. I had been going through LOTS of problems as a result of getting my eye enucleated due to choroidal melanoma. I had to have numerous surgeries and was having a financial hardship at the time of my appointment. Dr. Pearman did my checkup and did NOT CHARGE ME A CENT!! It is a VERY rare thing these days to find such a caring giving person in the medical profession. I am SO saddened to hear of this loss. I will truly miss this great man!! As will my husband. After many years of him going to the same dentist, his retired & I convinced him to go to see Dr Pearman. He REALLY liked him. I send my sympathy to Sue, Brenda, and all the other hygenists whom I have dealt with and have been with Doc for so many years.

Sue-I am saddened and shocked at the unfortunate and untimely death of Dr. Pearman. I really loved going to him and having his gentle words calm me and my fears . We had a few conversations about cats and vacations and the fun things He liked to do on his time off. I am still in shock over the news of Dr. Pearman's passing. Please know how sorry I am for your loss and ours. Dr. Pearman was a wonderful, caring dentist and I was a patient of his for as long as I can remember. I feel very blessed that I was able to see him on Wednesday when he filled two cavities for my youngest daughter. He took great care to ease her nerves and did, as always, a wonderful job. He will be remembered for his compassion for others, caring heart, love of life, and his sense of humor. Dr. Pearman you are a great man and I will miss you greatly. God be with you. Love, Debi, Jon, Madison, & Mackenzie Moore

To the family of Dr. Pearman,
The city has lost a dependable and honest professional.I trusted him 100% with my family's care.Although I never saw him smile(always under that mask), you could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. I'm sad for all of us, but my thoughts and prayers are with his family and devoted staff.

Dear Mrs. Pearman,
At this time please know that my family is praying for you. My boys were just with him Thursday and he took extra care to assist Brayden with an unscheduled tooth extraction! I am so glad we got to spend that extra time with him, and he as always made Brayden feel okay about the procedure even though he is only 8. He made our family feel part of his family practice. We will stay with his practive in his honor! May you and your staff know how much we care!

I am devastated to know of David Pearman's untimely passing. His memory will shine on within all those that were fortunate to know him. Just last year he and his entire dental staff sent a get well card after my Harley accident that meant the world to me at a difficult time. I am so sorry I couldn't have the opportunity to be there for you Dave! More then my dentist, you were a great friend and I will miss you. My sincerest heartfelt sympathy to you Sue and the entire staff at the office.

Dr. Pearman has been my dentist for the past 10 years. He was a terrific professional who always had a smile for everyone. He could make you laugh even if you were having an uncomfortable procedure done! He also was a thoughtful and kind person. His staff clearly loved him as did his patients. He will be deeply missed and mourned.

Our whole family was so saddened by the news. We have known Dave as "our" dentist for many years. The kids felt they have grown up with Dr. Pearman. He was such a caring person. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Sue,
I'm so sorry to here about Dr. Pearman, when I told the family about this we felt as we lost apart of our family. Thinking back you both have been apart of us sense I think 1988, when we started going to him on 35th and bell rd, Ryan remember talking to him about sports, Haden said he remember when he was happy for me I only had 2 cacvties instead of 9 at my cleaning, Autumn said he was always smiling and making me laugh, He was so patient with Nicholas, and me I was always so nerves he would put his hand on my shoulder and say "Everything is going to to okay just relax I'll be right back." and every tine it was okay. I feel we were very lucky and blessed to have him as are Family Dentist. I always told everybody about him. We will keep you in are prayers.

Dr. Pearman was a great dentist. Actualy he was the only dentist i have ever had, sence the age of three to being now eight-teen. i hated going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned but everytime that i was in there he would but a smile on my face. I could still imagine him looking down on me with those big eyes in those crazy glasses. He will deffently be missed by me and everyone that knew him. Best wishes to sue.
