DiAnne Dooley Obituary

DiAnne Dooley, Jan. 1, 1944 - July 9, 2008. Loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, sadly passed away July 9, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Pawhuska, OK, but lived her entire life in Phx, AZ. She graduated from North High in 1961, graduated from business college, and began her career in banking. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank, where she leaves many dear friends. DiAnne adored her children, Kathyrn Izumi, and Allan L. Dooley Jr. and her precious grandchildren, Zachary Michael, Alexander Thomas, Megan Nicole Izumi; and Sarah Rose Dooley. They were the love & light of her life. DiAnne enjoyed watching their ice hockey games, home remodeling projects, golf, reading, dancing, and her beloved pets. She loved working on Habitat for Humanity projects. She is survived by her 2 children, 4 grandchildren, (aforementioned), 5 siblings; Donald Walton, Duane Walton, Alison Neff, Travis Walton, Warner Walton, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. DiAnne's legacy will not be forgotten, it will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fndation in her name. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel at 4901 W. Union Hills, Glendale Az on Sat. July 12 at 10:00 a.m.

DiAnne was a very warm and caring person that was a joy to visit with and she always had such a warm smile no matter the circumstances. She was a terrific role model to others and she will be greatly missed.

DiAnne was a great friend to me over the last few years at Wells Fargo. I will truly miss her. I'm very sorry for her family's lose.
