Dear Gerry and family,

I was not able to sign the guest book the day of Dick's funeral. Your family has always been so wonderful to me. It just does not seem possible he could be gone. Bennett Miller put it best "He is on his last trail ride."

Much love and like,

Machelle McNeill

I remember our times as kids growing up and going to Kyrene, riding the old T-bus with Mr. Miller @ the wheel, yelling to you as you got off in front of your house "to head straight for the barn after school". Our lives didn't mesh much after, but you can bet I will miss the memories of the times we were together. My deepest sympathy to you.

Sincerely, John Sr.

Geri and Family, I was sorry to read about Dick's death. I remember you as one of the first couples I met when Wendell Rote and I moved to Tempe. You and Dick were so much fun and so welcoming. Your former home on McClintock is near my son Wendell's house and I think of both of you every time I drive by. Dick was a great guy...a real guy. I'm so sorry for your loss, your family's loss, Tempe's loss.
