Donna has been a friend,co-worker and mentor to me for over 19 years. She has touched my life in such a dramatic way, I am blessed an honored to call Donna my friend. Donna always had the time to listen and lend support to what ever life threw at me,her advise and compassion were always cherished. I know Donna knows how much we all cared, and she would not want us to grieve forever. She will want us to carry on the way she always did. So I will always cherish the good times that we shared and remember how much Donna always cared. Let these memories surround us all.
To Donnas family, my prayers are with you all. Donna is in a better place, with no more pain or suffering. She would want each of you to be strong and carry on. She loved each of you so very much and was so very proud of her life and family. Donna will be in our heart, our thoughts, our dreams, and prayers forever. Thank you Donna for making such a difference in my life! You will always be a special part of me.

Aunt Donna,
Some of my very best childhood memories were spent at your house. I remember like it was yesterday all the times you would lay out Bryan's baby clothes all over his floor and let me pick out whatever I wanted for my baby dolls, I know it seems like a silly memory but to me it meant so much as you just knew how happy it would make me! I will forever remember out trips to the Blue Whale, our times in Idaho and the many nights Julie and I faked sleeping so that I could stay the night! I will forever hold those memories close to my heart!
Uncle John,
You were her prince and she once told me I would find mine, she was right.
Julie, Kris and Bryan,
My heart breaks for you... You were her world and I know that she was and always will be so very proud of all of you.
I love you.

There was no one like Donna, she was special and a dear friend. Always concerned and caring about everybody. She will be greatly missed. I keep the family in my prayers - As you are now talking about her death, she is talking with the Lord, what greater reward awaits any of us.

I meet Donna along time ago when my best friend Carole married her son Kris. She always welcomed my family and I into her home and POOL, just like we were one of her family memebers. We were always included in family BBQ's and even some holiday dinners. My kids always wanted to go see Grandma Donna and swim at her house. Donna you will be greatly missed by ALL. Jon, Julie, Kris, Carole, Brian Liz, and kids my thoughts and prayers are with you.

A couple of my cherished memories as a child are getting to hang out in Donna's closet and wear all of her shoes. Her feet were so tiny that I could fit into her shoes at a pretty young age. She had a lot of high heels that actually fit me so that was always a treat. When I would spend the night at their house, she always as a special treat would fix me french toast in the morning. She had no idea that I didn't like french toast and I thought it was such a nice thing for her to do, I never told her, I just ate it every time. When I got a little older she found out that I didn't like it and that became a standing joke that she kidded me about for years. And most recently we cherish the blankets she made for all of our kids. They wrap up in them daily so we think of her often. Our hearts are breaking for you, John, Julie, Kris and Bryan, Carole and Liz and all of the grandkids, but we know that you have many, many wonderful memories to hold on to as well as knowing that you will all be together again one day. I'm sure you will be receiving many "hellos from heaven" in the days and weeks ahead as she will no doubt be watching over all of you. We love you.

"Families", Donna has been a member of ours for over 35 years and she will be greatly missed. I admire her sence of humor, even when she was fighting breast cancer she still found ways to be positive and laugh about the situations she faced. I remember a story she told me that happened when she was assisting my mom in the ladies room on an outing to a casino that John and Donna took her to. Our mom, who was also fighting for her life with a brain tumor and had undergone chemo as well was physically challenged at the time, and after assisting her Donna said they both looked in the mirror and had to adjust there wigs and they both bursted out laughing! I admire the strength and fight Donna had in her to her very last breath, she loved her family so much and could not imagine leaving any one of them. She will be greatly missed. I admire her for her compassion and loving heart. She helped so many families and children through her devoted and long time work at Valley Child Care. I admire her ability to always get the perfect gift for whoever she was shopping for. I admire her for her excellent cooking (pistashio pudding and chicken puff sandwiches, among many others). I admire the way she was always willing to help at family functions bringing what ever was needed and helping in any way she could. I'd admire her gift of conversation and that she was always ready to lend an ear to anyone. Of course I could go on and on but will leave room for others to honor her memory. Donna will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. To my brother John, my niece Julie, nephews Kris and Bryan, and Carole, Liz and all her precious little Grandchildren, as well as Donna's Mom, Sister and Brother, and everyone else who loved her, may you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have. Love you Pete and Jacque

Donna was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was such an awesome friend...always having time to listen and to talk. She was a kind, compassionate and loving woman with a wonderful sense of humor. Her love for her family and friends was obvious in the way she spoke about them and cared for them. I admired her courage as she faced this latest battle regarding her health. She always had such hope and determination. She never lost her zest for life and even as she struggled, she continued to care deeply about others and wondered how they were doing. I will hold my friendship with Donna in my heart forever. I was blessed to have known her and to love her. My condolences to all of you, her family. She loved you dearly and always spoke of you with such love, affection and humor. May your many memories with Donna bring you comfort in the days ahead. God bless you all.
With Love...
