Don: My mother, Margaret, informed me
yesterday about your mother's passing.
I have many fond memories of our high school days, your home, playing foot- ball on the front lawn, and the warmth
and kindness of your mother fixing us lunch or a snack, as you, and many of your teenage friends, spent a glorious day at your home. The Peace of the Lord be with you, your family and your dear mother.

Bill, I saw this this AM. So sorry to read of your Mother. I recall the few times she and I would sit in the kitchen of her home years ago and discuss great recipies and general chatter. She is a very kind Lady with a big heart. I am glad to have been a small part of her life, and she always had a smile for me. I'll always remember that. Warm thoughts to you and the Family at this time.

Much love and many prayers for your dear, dear Mom and for all of your family at this most difficult time.

One of Jane's kids just notified me via e-mail.

As you know your folks were like second parents to my siblings and me; besides being my Mom's very best friends..

I'm flooded with memories.

I will notify Frank, my brother who lives in Atlanta,. He always asks if I have any news of your family.

The children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of long time friends Berenice and Frank Coles, Jr send our love to you. Dorothy and Bill Luke were a great part of the extended Coles family and we will remember the fun times with horses, antique cars, gardening and celebrating life together. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time, may good memories replace any sadness you feel. Love, Cathy (Auten) Hopp Northridge, CA
