Dot Whitcomb Obituary

Dot Whitcomb passed away on Sunday, June 8th, seven days before her 84th Birthday. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1924 to the late John and LuLu Johnson. She taught kindergarten in Kohler Wisconsin. She married James Whitcomb in 1948. Dot and Jim resided in Pittsburgh Pa, for 50 years where they raised their daughters, Pam and Lisa and made many life long friends. They were to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 12th here in Scottsdale, Arizona where they have had a home for the last 35 years. She joined her daughter Pam in the heavens and is survived by her husband, James Whitcomb, daughter Lisa Capra, 2 son-in-laws, David Larsen and Gary Capra and 5 beautiful grandchildren on both sides. Jonathan, Michael, Kristina, Andy and Glenn. Viewing will be 9-11 AM with a service starting at 11 AM this Friday, June 13th at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Scottsdale Arizona. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Whitcomb Foundation c/o Schofield-MacDougall, 2364 Route 66, Delmont, PA 15626.
