Dwight Battles Obituary
91, passed away on September 28, 2008. An Arizona native, Dwight attended Phoenix Union High School and was later married to The Late Margaret nee Mansfield for 60 years. Dwight served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Masons and Elks, a volunteer for the Sheriff's and Fire Departments as well as numerous business and civic organizations. He will always be remembered for his generosity to others. GaGa we love and miss you. Dwight is survived by his daughter, Sharon Wester, grandsons, Todd and Craig Wester, 5 great grandchildren and brother, Fred Battles. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of The Valley.
