Ed Gunderson Obituary

Gunderson, Ed
Ed Gunderson, 76, of Mesa, AZ passed away June 4th, 2017. He was born in Nampa, ID on October 13, 1940, son to the late Lyle and Vivian Gunderson. He is survived by his wife Kim Krosch, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Robin Torrey, daughter and son-in law Regina and Norman May and daughter Traci Gunderson and sister and brother-in-law Kaaran and Jim Dillon. He was preceded in death by his brothers Darrell, Larry and Lynn Gunderson. As an SP4 in the Army, Ed received a Bronze Star medal for outstanding meritorious service while in Vietnam. Ed was a man of many occupations but for the past 28 years he co-owned Westwind Stables in Lehi, AZ with Kim. Ed loved and was dedicated to both the horses and their owners at the stables. His knowledge of horsemanship, his willingness to share a beer and a story with everyone and mostly his "witty" commentary will be forever missed. A memorial to celebrate his life is being planned for Saturday, October 28th, 2pm at Westwind Stables. If you would like to participate you contact Kim through Westwind Stables for more detailed information.

Did not know he passed. He was a great friend to everyone. I boarded my horses at his stables for several years 2000-2005. I stopped by the stables and did not recognize the place. I'm sad we lost a friend. Now I wonder where Kim is at. I hope she is doing fine.
