Hello, My name is Norma I work at the apartment complex where Ed lived. I have been out of town and just got the heart breaking news. I honestly can not believe it. I feel like I will see him coming through my office door to visit and it breaks my heart knowing he isn't. I wanted to say I am deeply sorry for your loss and can't believe I missed the services. I do apologize. He was a great guy! He would be exhausted from working so much and still come in to talk to me with a great smile on his face. He was a very sweet, honest, caring cheerful guy. We will deeply miss him. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

God Bless You are in our prayers
Norma B. and all of us at Palm Aire.

Shar and Frank and family:
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. As you know, I have known Eddie since he was a little boy. I have so many memories of Eddie that bring a smile to my face. He always had a smile and always a joke to tell or a funny story.
Please find comfort in knowing that although Eddie has gone Home, he was not alone. He was met at the Golden Gate by his parents, Pearl and Nathan and his brother Louis and of course our Lord. He is in loving hands. He is Home.
Love and Blesses
Carol (Spada)

Ed, I rarely saw his face without that great smile. He was able to brighten up anyone's day with a short conversation. His gift was to see the positive in any situation. He was truly a diamond in the rough. He will be missed greatly by many.
God bless you Ed. Until we are all reunited again,

For more than twenty years, Ed and I were personal friends and had shared many memories, mostly as his supervisor at Sky Harbor Airport. He had many friends in his lifetime and will not be forgotten. My sympathies go out to all.

There was never a week that would pass when I didn't see Ed, he became a good friend, we chatted about our lives and families, he had many stories and loved his photo's of himself at Halloween! (His favorite time of year), I cannot believe that I will not see him any more at the airport, Ed was a humbling person, never took advantage of the life he was blessed with and he never met a stranger, I will miss him. Be blessed my friend until we meet again.

February 25, 2010

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ed's family. I met Ed (aka Elvis) in 2001 when I worked for the Aviation dept. I always thought he was one of the kindest people I ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. Over the years he attended my families various birthday parties and he also visited my oldest son when he was born. It meant so much to my family and I that "Elvis" took the time to be with us on very special occassions. My family will miss him very much and he will always have a special place in my heart. Good night bro and I hope one day to see you again.----S. Garcia (Phoenix,Az)

We knew Ed for only seven years, but at each gathering and occasion, he was always friendly, smiling, and willing to help. Sometimes our exchange of jokes may have missed the mark, but that made them all the more funny. I know God will bless Ed for the kind person he was. Our sympathies to all.
