Well here it is, 8 years since you left us to go to heaven. You, as my big brother was always there to help any of us. It was like your mission in life to "save the day", we could always count on you. I know that you fought long and hard with the cancer and that you were so scared, but, you never let on. I still remember the day before you died, I was over spending the day with you and you wanted to make me lunch! Here, I am supposed to be taking care of you and you wanted to wait on me. That's my brother, always there for others. I miss you, but I am just happy that you are not in any more pain. I will see you soon. Kiss Mom and Jason for me. All my love forever and a day... Susie

Becky,I am sorry I could not say goodby to Eddie personally. I'm not sure if you were aware Dale Rackley passed away a month ago of liver cancer. Eddie, Dale and myself were close fiends when we were in grade school and high school.I looked up to Eddie more like a big brother than my best friend. I hope your doing well. I hope to visit with you some day. Jeff

My dearest Uncle Eddie, we have lost so many family members over the last year, I'm still in shock, but I never would have guessed we would be lossing you so quickly. You and Aunt Becky shared a wonderful love for each other that not all people get to experience. I am very sad that she will have to live without the love she had for so long. You will live on in our hearts forever.

When Dennis was in hospice several days before he died, it was getting late so I said I was going to leave. Den said to be careful going home. Ed said he'd follow me home and Den said "good man Ed!" I didn't see the need for him to follow me but it was nice he was there. That's the kind of man he was. I know Dennis was glad that Becky and Ed were there to talk to him. Becky even stayed the night in the hospital and she said they talked all night. Love you both!

Rebecca, I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Reading his guest book it is certainly clear that he was greatly loved. I know you will grieve for him but also have the promise that you will one day be reunited. I hope you find great comfort in knowing that death is not the end. God bless you and keep you close in your time of sadness.

Eddie - You are an amazing friend. It's hard to put into words all the memories we've shared, and the many things you taught me. I'll miss the many conversations we shared while you were watering the yard, and how you always had the best outlook on everything and how you always knew what to say. Despite how much time goes by, you'll always be my best friend. Love -Samuel (Sam

Eddie - You are one of the kindness, most generous, and helpful friend I have ever had. I will miss your smile. You touched so many people, and you didn't stop there, you were also kind to animals - the neighbor cats all thought your house was there home. I'm gonna miss you man!

Eddie - It is with a heavy heart that we write you this message. I don't think we ever voiced to you how much you meant to us. You have been the picture perfect neighbor and friend. You always had a friendly "hello" for us, no matter how busy you were. Everytime we needed a hand, you were the first one there. As hard as you worked keeping your yard so beautiful, you never seemed to mind it when all the kids came to play on your grass. I also remember the boys hanging around you to see what treasures you were going to dig out from one of your cars. Your gentleness and kindness will be terribly missed by all. We'll watch over your beloved Becky for you. Love you - your friends The Yiamarelos

Eddie Kennedy, the ONLY real friend I ever had. He has been my great friend since 1965 when I was 15 and Eddie was 14. We met on the CB radio and became great friends. I also was friends with Milt and Marge and all of his brothers and sisters. In the 1970's and 1980's we were in the used car business together, and just friends again after 1990. In 1969, Becky became Eddie's girlfriend and later his wife. I did many many activities with Eddie and Becky over the year. The rest of my life will never be the same now without Eddie, but I know we will be great friends in heaven. Eddie will also see my Dad, Gaston, and they can talk about the "old days". goodbye, my only true friend for 43 years, With great love, Dick Hyde

My Dear Uncle,
It was the shocking news that brought tears to my eyes And you made me remember what it was like to cry. On that dreadful day God decided it was your time, your time to go so He took your life away,
And everyone felt the pain, the pain that you had been suffering for so long. You will be missed more than you will ever know.
This past year you and I have gotten really close I didn't just think of you as my uncle you were more like a father to me and no one can ever take your place. Thank you for showing me what its like to have a uncle in my life who really cared and loved me. I appreciate everything you have ever done for me you are truly a caring giving man! I just don't understand why cancer keeps taking away the people I love you didn't deserve to be taken you were such a special unique person who always believed in helping others so much. Your image in my heart will never erase and the memories I have with you will never be forgotten.. As you smile on me from up above My mind is still sad but my heart is filled with love. My only regret is that I didn't get to know you sooner, what a wonderful person you are.
I love you dear uncle you meant the world to me Please tell my mother I love her and that I miss her very much.
I love you! Until we meet again...
