Another cousin from the Smith family---I am so sorry for your loss. Like my twin sister Kathy, I also lived in Tucson from 1978 to 1986. During that time we had the opportunity to visit with Ed when my husband Jeff, son Jason, and I drove to Phoenix to visit with Uncle Ed and Aunt Shirley. Cousin Ed was in the kitchen eating Aunt Shirley's cookies as they came out of the oven...yum they were good! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Ed,

U.Frank and I were sorry to hear you left us so soon. You are in a more peaceful place now and with no pain. Glad we were able to have lunch with you and Dee last winter in Phoenix. We will miss your smiling face.

Love, A.Fran

From one of your Kentucky cousins - I am so sorry for your loss. I wish we could have seen more of each other as adults. But I have great memories of our times at Grandpa & Grandma's bungolow on Long Island. Like my mom, your Aunt Dorothy who died at 52 you were much too young. You and your family are in my prayers.

(Another one of Ed's cousins) It's ironic that he had that "III" behind his name, because to all of us (18 younger cousins) he was "senior". He was everyone's oldest cousin. In New York, he kidded us country bumpkins about being "hicks", and we saw him as something out of "West Side Story". I only saw Ed a few times after the mid-1960s, given the wide geographic separation, but to me he was still the "king". The way I figure it, his leadership role continues, only now he's paving a new road in a new dimension. Rest easy, Cuz.

Dear Family,

This is a cousin of Ed and Lynn (part of the Smith family). I'm am so sorry to hear about your loss. I had the pleasure of spending a couple evenings with cousin Ed many years ago when I lived in Tucson and Ed was in town on an electrical job. We had fun conversations with many laughs.Other fond memories are of fun times together as kids at Grandma and Grandpa O'Briens bungalow in NY. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Kathy
