My uncle Frido was one of the greatest men I have ever met in my life. He was the best example of strength, fortitude, stamina & endurance. But the most unforgettable thing about him was the grandeur & generosity of his love. He never failed to let me know he was genuinely glad to see me and I always felt his love & care. When we said goodbye he would always hug me ardently and affectionately & sometimes he would give me a little money & say "go by yourself something new." I will surely miss my Tio, but his loving presence will always be alive in my heart & soul.

Ortega Familia,
There really are very little words to tell you at this time other than time will heal. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I received notice of your father passing. God be with you and your family and give you the strength that you will need during the days and months ahead.

Dearest Ortega Family: My deepest sympathies are with you as the immeasurable emptiness we feel cannot be expressed in words when our beloved parents finish their journey on this earth. We all grieve in different ways and it will accompany us until our journey is complete. Please be encouraged by the scripture "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.Finally. there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.2Tim4:7-8 This, for me, personifies my generous and loving Uncle Frido. Love always, Erlinda

I was truly heart broken when I learned the passing of Mr. Ortega. He was such a loving and caring man. My deepest condolences to all of you for your loss. I wish I would have taken the time to see him more often and for that I will ask him for forgiveness. I will always remember how he would tell me, "Kathya, where have you been?" when I did get the chance to see him. I will always remember his beautiful smile. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
