Elizabeth Bebo

Phoenix - Elizabeth "Liz" Bebo, was born on April 22, 1942 in Washington, DC, to the late Jane and William Ryder. Liz passed away at age 75 on January 23, 2018 in her home. She graduated from Springfield College in 1964. She was a 5th grade teacher in the Madison School District for 15 years. She was forced into early retirement due to disability caused by progressive multiple sclerosis. She is survived by her sons, Bruce and Chris (Sarah); sister, Anne Hobbs (Peter); niece, Jennifer Hobbs Wills (Justin) and grandson Luca Bebo. She was a member of Church of the Beatitudes and a dedicated volunteer with Toastmasters, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Phoenix Symphony, and Duet: Partners in Healthy Aging among others. Donations to the Elizabeth R. Bebo Memorial Fund at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are welcome and appreciated. Friends and family are welcome to attend the celebration of life service, officiated by Rev. Peggy Roberts, on Saturday, April 21 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Everett Luther Life Center at the Beatitudes Campus, 610 West Glendale, Phoenix, Arizona, 85021.
