Emma Jameson Obituary
Emma Elizabeth Jameson left us to be with Jesus on Wednesday April 30th, with her loving family by her side. Emma was born on August 16, 1928 in Texarkana, Texas, the youngest of seven children. Emma moved to Arizona with her family at the age of 16. Just one year later Emma met the love of her life, Pete Jameson, and after just six short weeks they were married on her 18th birthday. Pete and Emma were married for 9 days shy of 67 years and had three wonderful children Marlin, Pam, and Wiley.
Emma was an extremely caring woman who was never selfish and lived to take care of her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Emma enjoyed watching any kind of sports, especially the Phoenix Suns, Diamondbacks, and later in life Tennis. Emma also loved keeping up on the latest local and world news and would have a healthy debate on the issues with anyone who was willing to take her on.
Emma was preceded in death by here husband Pete, her parents Getty and Winnie Wiley, her siblings Mildred, Leon, Bryan, Tom, Betty, and Jo and her grandson Alan Jameson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Marlin (Darlene) Jameson, Pam Daily, and Wiley (Lisa) Jameson; Grandkids Sabrina (Bill) Jarkowski, Nina Daily, Jillian Jameson, Matthew (Alicia) Jameson, Morgan Jameson, Randi (Jeremy) Burnett, Tyrel Kelland, Chase Jameson, Chad Jameson, Brady Jameson, and Zoey Jameson; Great Grandkids Ryan, Reis, Kaelyn, Everly, Kali, Kadence, Keely, Jaeson, and Rhiannon.
Graveside services will be held at Wellton Cemetery on Tuesday, May 6th at 10am. Flowers to be sent to Sunset Vista Funeral Home in Yuma, AZ.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I remember her most fondly, from our days at Crane School. She was always helping with school dances, sports or other activities. She was so proud of all of you and was always very kind to me. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

We are all so sorry for your loss. Emma was a wonderful woman. Our family will always remember for her kindness and unwaivering generosity. She always made us feel welcome with every visit. Pam, Marlin and Wiley, Your mother was one of the most caring people I have ever met. She would always be there for anyone in need. She was one of the best cooks ever! She will forever be with you, just look into your heart and you will find her there. She is now with God and His angels and the love of her life your dad. Marlin, Pam and Wiley- Your mom (and dad) provided strong parental guidance throughout your lives. And even though they are not physically present, their everlasting impact on your lives will live on through you, your children and your grandchildren. Our prayers are with you as you adjust to this change in your life where you are now the oldest generation of the family and without the lifelong support you've enjoyed from a parent. It takes a while to get used to the idea that you are now an orphan- but you still have each other!
