Eric English Obituary
and children were the center of his life, and his greatest wish was that they not want for anything. He had a deep faith in Jesus Christ, and his desire to help others held no bounds. He touched many peoples' lives, and will be missed by all. Eric was born on February 14, 1966 in North Hollywood, California. He lived most of his life in Simi Valley, moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2000. He was a graduate of Simi Valley High School in 1984. He was also involved in many different organizations and communities: Ham Radio license KE6FSV; Arizona Women in Tune; Community Church of Hope in Phoenix, Arizona; International Window Corporation; Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Simi Valley, California; Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 10 years, Sarah (Hunter) English; his children, Gloriana (Martin), Hunter and Sallianne; his parents, Phoebe and John English; his brother, Bill English; his sister, Susan Slack (husband Bill); Grandmommy, Renate English; mom #2 (in-law), Judy Hunter; sister (in-law), Gloriana Hunter; brother (in-law), Michael Hunter (wife Dawn); Grammie (in-law), Gloria Barnwell; father (in-law), Mike Hunter (wife Gail); nieces and nephews, Jessica, Billy, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Bethany, and Ethan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and business associates. He will remain a part of our lives forever. Eric?s wish was to be cremated and set free over Mt. McCoy in Simi Valley. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 18th at 1:00 pm. Community Church of Hope at 1:00 pm, 4121 N. 7th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85014. Cards may be sent to Sarah and family c/o Community Church of Hope, PO Box 16779, Phoenix, AZ 85011-6779. I will miss Eric deeply. Everybody wants to be there to help you and the kids through this difficult transition but it has been you who has helped us through. You have been so stable and strong. The messages that all three kids gave in honor of Eric at the service were wonderful. The vast turnout at the service shows how important Eric was to everybody he interacted with.

Andy just called to say that he read about Eric's passing. I am shocked and so very, very sorry to hear this. You were our 1st neighbors in Simi and I remember so well the kids playing and going to school together. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. May Eric rest in peace and free from pain.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Eric. I knew Eric from school at Valley View Jr High and Simi High in 1984. Eric was a great guy , always a hard worker in school and I dont remember him ever missing a day of it . Eric's loss will be a great one.May God Bless you and your family...

I knew Eric through the Simi Settlers Amateur Radio Club in its early years here in Simi. I went to school with Bill and have fond memories of many pool parties with them at Hoolihan's over many summers. Eric signed my wife's guest book here (Shannon Beach) who just passed last month on July 20. It sounds like my wife, Shannon, and Eric had very similar attitudes as they fought their battles with cancer. My heart and prayers go out to all his family. It's not easy; but, may you all find comfort in the Lord.

I met Eric a couple times through his sister-in-law Gloriana Hunter whom I worked with and was a dear friend. He was a wonderful father and husband and my heart goes out to his and Sarah's family.
My prayers are with you and may Eric's love and spirit shine down from heaven.
