Eric Henkel Obituary

Eric "Bill" W. Henkel, 66, of Phoenix passed away May 01, 2006 after a five year battle with lung cancer. He retired from the US Air Force after 20years of service including two tours of Vietnam and also retired from the USPS after 20 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife Janet, sons Sheldon (Summer) and Eric (Kathy), brothers Jerry and Jack, sister Maria, grandchildren Hailee and Mason and a lot of friend and neighbors. Services will be held at 2pm Thurs May 4 at Carr Tenney Mortuary 2621 S. Rural Rd Tempe. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice Family Care 1550 S. Alma School Rd #102 Mesa, Az 85210.

I will miss Bill so much. He has been a good and kind friend to me and my family. His passing will leave a large void in all of our lives. However, having known him through out the years has brought us great joy and pleasure. He was a vibrant, intelligent and entertaining person.
