Frances Mills Obituary

Frances Magdaline Mills, 101, of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully on
Thursday July 31, 2008. Frances was born in Dixon, SD on December 21, 1906 and raised in Lynch, NE where she attended Lynch High School. After several years of farming in NE, Frances moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1959 and worked at Schreiner's Sausage Shop until retiring in 1980. Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Lloyd Erwil Mills, her son Charles Duane Mills, daughter and son-in-law Lavina Elaine and Harold T. Bishop, parents Charles and Adelina(Lettie) Sedlacek, brother and sister-in-law George Daniel and Ethel Louise Sedlacek, sisters and brother-in-law Helen Ann and Robert Ronald Carson and Irene Louise and Tony Albert Scheinost, and sister-in-law Eva Mae Sedlacek. Frances is survived by her son Eldon Leroy Mills(Alice), her brothers Charles Leo Sedlacek, grandchildren Brian Lynn Mills(Nancy), Timothy Lyle Mills(Cheri), Jennifer June Rees(Gary), Samuel Ray Mills(Fran), Arthur Floyd Mills(Kathleen), Sheila Faye Hankins(Burtram), Rodney Lee Mills (Jennifer), Dennis Ray Kersch and Marcia Ann Benincasa(Brian). She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and many other loved ones. Frances spirit, spunk and love will be missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 West Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ with burial on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 9 a.m.
