Janet,

I know we have never met , but Frank and I were great friends in school. He was hilarious. We had tons of fun from riding snowmobiles behind their house on Keefer Rd, to playing in Bands together. By the way 2 years ago I moved back to Ohio and am now living on Keefer Rd and I see his old house everyday. There are not many days that go by that I don't think of all the fun we had there. He was a great guy and a good friend. One of the great tragedies in life is as we get older we loose touch with people. I truly regret we had lost touch. If there is anyway I could ever help you or your family, please contact me.

Hello Janet,
I also attended Lucas High School, my father was the Superintendent there and he and I used to talk about how funny Frank was. He was just a great guy to be around.
I'm sorry for your loss; you and family are in my thoughts.

Dear Janet,
A former student, DUKE Hergatt, posted on Facebook the "sad news" about the passing of his classmate, Frank.
I taught and coached Frank while he attended Lucas Junior and Senior High Schools.
I have wondered over the years what happen to Frank and his family. I did not know that they had settled in Arizona.
Frank was a good "kid". Oh, he could find "trouble" once in a while, but he was basically a person who I got to enjoy and watch "grow up" over the years I had contact with him as an athlete and student.
He was "funny" as many people have pointed out.
You and his family and loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.
Lucas teacher: 1965--1975.
Coached football and was athletic director.

Dear Janet, Just got word from Paul about my good friend from childhood and high school Frank is no longer with us. We grew up together in Lucas and had huge and fun memories together as kids. I last saw Frank at our 25th class reunion a long time ago. Frank was one of the "coolest" and funniest people I knew growing up. I googled him and got a facebook connection which allowed Paul to make me a contact. Maybe Frank mentioned a DUKE character from his past. Thats me and my heart is heavy to know of his departure. Wish I could have tried to reconnect sooner. He truely was a great part of my youth memories . Duke Hergatt, Waterford, NY
