Gabriel Escalante Obituary
38 of Phx, AZ passed away Sept. 16, 2009. He is survived by his son Christian which was the joy of his life. Parents Joan & Lencho, brothers Mark & Abel, 3 sisters Yvette, Liz & Joan, grandmother Armida. Ex-wife Christine, many nieces & nephews also numerous friends & extended family. Services Friday Sept. 25th 9:00am at Harper Funeral Home 1246 E. Jefferson Phx, AZ 85034. Burial following at St. Francis Cemetery. Jr. we will miss your jokes, your sense of humor and your ability to make everyone laugh. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you, especially your family.

Escalante's I never knew Jr. But I do know Mark and Yvette,I wish I could share all of the wonderful memories that I've read on here about Jr.however, My up most deepest sympathy goes out to all left behind. When we pass over to another stage of eternal life,It is the best gift that we recieve from the lord Jesus. He is in a place where he will always be protected and shielded by the hands of God, Jesus has called him home. My thoughts,sympathy and prayers go out to all that has had the privilage to know,love and be loved by such a wonderful person as you have all decribed. Keep your faith strong,and know that Jesus knows your pain. So keep Jr. alive by keeping Jesus alive in our hearts, as he lives through all of us...

Uncle Jr there is so much that I wish I could've said or done....But I know that its not good to think like that right now. I must stay strong like YOU have always told me to when things seemed tough you would be like "Keep your head up PRETTY GIRLFRIEND!!! and do what you gotta do for you and the Baby (TRUNK,SHRIMP,SHOOKAWORLD.) BUT I just find it way to hard to subside each and every day I feel like its a BAD DREAM and that it's not REAL. But after today at the FUNERAL I must say it wasn't easy for any of us to pull through but we did and we did it for you. I want you to know that I will always be here for CHRISTIEN and remind him in every way of what kind of father you were and tell him how much you loved him. I will take him to see you every week like I did when you were locked up. Uncle Jr I dont really know how to deal with this? I just wanna spend one more day with you like when I was little remember those times we would drive around in the beige CAMRY and listen to MARIAH CAREY "LOVE TAKES TIME" lol I bet you your laughing at that right now. Or remember that time you helped my mom with my 13th birthday party when I stayed with you and Christine. Well I have to tell you that it was one of the BEST I ever had. I will always appreciate all the little things you did for me and Joshua. I loved my baby SHOWER =) and my EDDIE BAUIER CAKE that said "BRITTNEY & MIJO" my EDDIE BAUIER DIAPER PAL that you bought....lol its already on MYSPACE. I will treasure EVERYTHING that you have given me EVEN that the little tootbrush you gave me in california when we were on our VACATION. Glad that I have those memories to cherish. Thank you for all the times you had my back. I thank you for all the advice that was given. Thank you for baptizing JOSHUA you have been the BEST BIG NINO anyone could ask for. I will show him all the pictures from the dedication and tell him how much you loved him and how GREAT of a BIG NINO you were to him. Joshua and CHRISTIEN LOVE YOU VERY MUCH. I am gonna make it to the meeting SUNDAY/ KINGDOM HALL and I will spend the day with GRANDMA HELEN and TRAVIS. I know thats something you would have wanted me to do because you kept telling me and everyone that JayHOVA is COMMING BABY!!! you betteR ASK SOMEBODY? lol. Uncle Jr I love you so much I cant understand why you had to leave? If I never told you I wanna tell you thank you for helping me out when I was a little girl. All them times I lived with you, and the times you took me to go see Andrew Pauls football games at TEMPE HIGH. You did so much for me like you were my FATHER and thats why I CHOSE you to be JOSHUAS GODFATHER. I must END this and try to FIND PEACE from day to day but just remember that I love you and wish I could've woken you up that day I went to TIA YVETTES. Escalante family,
Jr. was one of those students who kept me busy teaching. He was always laughing and having fun. I would sometimes yell, but loved him all the same. It was so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember each and every one of you and your wonderful family. God Bless you.
