Gary Dorward Obituary
Gary Dorward, 72, of Phoenix Arizona passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2014. He was born on January 1st, 1942 in Bell, CA. He is survived by his son David, daughter in law Jennifer, grandkids Dayna and Dawson and so many great friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother June, Father William and brother Rick. Services will be held on September 10th, at 11am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W Beardsley Rd. Phoenix AZ. Memorial donations in Gary's name may be made to Hospice of the Valley. I had the honor of working for Gary at Southwest Auto Rental in Tempe. I'll never forget his upbeat and go getter personality. My heart sunk when I learned of Garys passing. We had some good times together and he will be missed. I am sure he is in a much better place now.

Dave, It was a real pleasure to have had the opportunity to have met and get to know your dad through my friend Lee. Your dad would stop in the office and would always go out of the way to start a conversation ask how I was doing and include me in going out for a refreshment. We had a good times and he always had adventures to share. He'll definitly be missed, you have my symphony and my prayers are with you.

Gary was truly one of the most genuine, sweetest, and fun-loving men I had the pleasure of meeting. At this time, my heartfelt condolences go out to Dave and his family and all those closest to Gary. I had a lot of fun with your Dad over the past 30 years. I know he was very proud of you. More than once I heard him say, " I would have had more kids if I knew they would have turned out like Dave". We will all miss the big guy

Dave, I will miss your dad for as long as I live. He was always a thoughtful friend and over the 45 years I can't think of a time we argued (other than USC Vs ASU) I know his life was you and your family. My love and prayers are with you
