Gene Ireton Obituary
Our beloved husband, father, and friend Gene, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2010. Gene was born in Lamesa, Texas on July 18, 1931, where he met and married his loving wife of 58 years, Beth. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his three children Clay (Sally) Ireton, Judith (Mark) Bisson, and Holly (Jeff) Anderson. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Apollo Baptist Church and a 32nd Degree Mason. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 22, 2010 at Apollo Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Apollo Baptist Church, 11611 N. 51st Ave., Glendale, AZ 85304. Gene enjoyed his family, painting, sailing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My life was enriched by a few breif encounters with Mr. Ireton. He and his lovely wife would shop in my store. Mr Ireton was always charming, kind and ever so loveing and thoughtful of his wife. Your memories must be grand and may they carry you through this most difficult time. With deep sympathy.
