Geneva Imogene Lafnear

Mesa - Services for Geneva Imogene Lafnear, 98, of Mesa will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 13th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1007 S 72nd St., Mesa, Az. She passed away on Sunday, December 8th, 2019. Geneva Lafnear, was born in Cowlington, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Summers and Grace Pruett. She was married to William Lafnear for 61 years who also preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister, Betty Brickner, daughters Joanne Scott, Janice Jones, Billie Green and son, Beau Lafnear, 11 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. on Thursday evening at Meldrum Mortuary and 10-11 a.m. December 13th 2019 at the church. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ.
