George Mattos Obituary

George "Georgie" Landon Mattos, 14, of Maricopa, Az. passed away suddenly on June 28th, 2005 in Pinole, Ca. while visiting grandparents. Georgie had just graduated from Aki-Mel Middle School. He loved to roller blade, bike, shop for clothes, watch out for his little sister, Sammy, hang out with friends and take care of his niece and nephew, Cassie and Gabriel. He is survived by his parents Joyce and Terry Mattos, and sister Samantha of Maricopa, sisters Sara Bentley, Tucson, and Sandee of Texas, grandparents George & Pat Mattos, Pinole, Ca., Adeline Jenkins, San Bernadino, several aunts and cousin. Memorial services will be held at Mt. Park Community Church, 24th & Pecos, Ahwatukee, Wed., July 6, 2005 at 12 noon. Inurnment will be private. A reception will follow the memorial service at the Chandler Elks Lodge..

George o my gosh i miss you more than any thing in the world i would have died for you.if i would have been able to trade places with u i would in a heart beat.just so you were here and safe and happy with me and mom and dad and everybody i just wish we could all be a family again and be happy.it would help so much if i new you were okay and safe and having fun.so just take care of your self and be carefull ill see you soon enough!!! love you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

George, you are such a great kid! I can't belive you are gone. I enjoyed so much having you over to swim. When Breana was little you loved to hold her and play with her. You were so respectful and such a good boy. And a good eater too!! I haven't told Chris and Alexis yet of your passing on to heaven but I will. So many people love you and you will be so missed. When i heard about the passing of Georgie i didnt know what to think i couldnt believe what i had heard i didnt want to do anything Terry and joy if you see this i hope you remember me i was your old neighbor in chandler me and george were like brother and sister he always had my back nobody messed with me when he was around i miss him more than anything right now i am teriibly sorry for your family and i will be attending his cermony i am always praying for him and his family R.I.P xoxo Nicole Jacobs! god bless

i miss you george. i wish we could have spent more time together. you were a great roller and a great friend. cooper and i are going to make a skate tribute to you if we can find some old skate footage of you. rest in peace georgie. gone but never forgotten.

I am very sorry to here about georges passing he was a friend to my little brother cody they met at the skate park and liked roller blading together. And had visited at my home a few times i thought he was well mannered kid and very outgoing. god bless.
