To George's beautiful mother wife and kids I offer my deepest condolences. George, was a tremendous young man when I meet him while coaching him at ASU. George, is one of the many reasons I have been able to achieve some of my life time goals because he taught me as well as many how to see the light in people even when you knew darkness was staring you In the face. George you will be truly missed. May your family find comfort, peace on their journey. Love you for life George.

What a tragedy. George and I were roommates as well as teammates while playing football in Germany 1996. I got to know the man well. We talked and shared a lot and the one thing he always was excited about was his girl Heather and the plans and dreams he had of marrying her and having a family. I haven't seen or spoken with him in 18 years. I considered him a friend. I'm happy he was able to live his dream.

George's smile and enthusiasm would always light up a room. For those of us at ASU who had the privilege of being around him during his Sun Devil days, knowing that he is gone so soon is very sad. George had a way about him that we all admired. He was a leader,a good student and a good football player. My thoughts and prayers go out to his dear family. May God bless you and give you strength. With the deepest sympathy for your loss, Jill (former assistant athletic director at ASU)
