God Bless you and give you peace. May God hold George gently in His Hands. George was a favorite student of mine and I will always remember him with affection.

Dear Gretchen and Peter,
I was shocked and saddened to hear the news about George. I taught George at All Souls and remember him to be a very sweet and likeable little boy. I also remember that you took the class hamster over vacation. The hamster got loose and you had to make a hole in the wall of your apartment to get him out!
Please accept my deepest condolences and know that I am thinking about you.
Warmly,
Audrey Matson

Gretchen and Peter,
I was heartbroken to learn of George's unexpected passing. What a loss for the family and all who knew him. George left an indelible impression on me as one of his first teachers at All Souls. He was such a likable, spirited, and positive boy, even back then.
My condolences to all. May you find peace and comfort in your happy memories of George.
Best always,
LouAnn O'Hora

Such devastating news. I was one of George's teachers, and I found him to be a delight; kind-hearted, creative, and an original thinker. I particularly enjoyed him in speech class where his presentations were always engaging and imaginative. I also have wonderful memories of sweet Anna. Thinking of you all with love at this sad time and wishing you comfort and peace.

Thinking of all the family at this most difficult time. George was a wonderful young man and will be sorely missed by many. I taught him and Anna (not John) and loved having these lovely kids in my classes. Sending so much love and holding you all in my heart. So sad.
