I worked with George for many years at John C. Lincoln North Mt. and it was always a pleasure. He was so kind and respectful of his patients and co-workers. When I think of George I have to smile. That's the effect he had on those who knew him. A great legacy. Bless all his family at this difficult time.

When I thought I might be pregnant in early 1977, a friend suggested Dr. Schade. My husband and I were struggling financially and he agreed to deliver our baby trading art work (my husband managed an art gallery in Metrocenter) for payment. What a great blessing! He was my doctor even when we moved to Litchfield Park. Whenever I had questions about my prescriptions and care, he reference what he would do for his own wife as he reassured me. He spent many years talking care of many folks. Thank you to Dr. Schade and to his family.

Janice and family I send my condolences to you all and know you have many fond memories to sustain you during this difficult time. I met George as a nursing instructor at ASU ( while I was supervision students)when he was a resident at Good Sam and then had the good fortune to work with him at Bethany OB Gyn and JC Lincoln for many years in the Maternity Department. His wonderful spirit, quick wit and sincere and humble concern and compassion for those in his care and those he worked with was always an inspiration and a pleasure. I will miss him. I am certain he will make Heaven a bit brighter by his presence.

Dr. Schade was my doctor for 35 years, my mother's doctor and my daughter's doctor. He delivered both my children and was still doing my annual checkups 3 years ago. He was a wonderful man, a gentle man and always with humor and compassion. I have not met another doctor like him and he will be sooooooo missed. Loved the bow tie too. Prayers to his wife and family.
